First letter

A Palpable Presence 

My Beloved,
As you see, I start my first letter to you calling you "my Beloved", this is just to open your eyes to the fact that I am somebody who loves you dearly and to whom you mean everything. Yes, my life is linked to yours as I am destined to be always close to you, to walk the journey of this life with you; to help you, guide you and comfort you; to give you all sorts of help according to your needs of the moment. We are called to walk together, to "grow" together; our destiny is to be together.

Even though I am immersed in the Light and Love of Above and am constantly submerged with heavenly joy; I am continuously with you, I never abandon you, and am here to help you and serve you.

As you see, my first letter to you has the reassuring title that summarizes my first gift to you: "a 'palpable' presence".

Yes I am "palpable"; my being can communicate with you in several tangible ways. So this is to reassure you that you will not be in the illusion of an abstract speech, you will not be transported to an abstract world through strange experiences (even though the spiritual experience with me will lead to such new horizons). I am here, present for you, very present for you, looking at you with such care and love. I am your closest friend, and it is so natural to be here and communicate. It is as if you have your eyes closed in a room full of sunlight with your best friend close to you; you feel his presence, you know that he is here; he sees you.

I listen to you always; whether you tell me with your voice or only with your thoughts. So this is the first step. I am with you all the time, I hear you, and I see you. I am not indiscreet. I am here when you need me, I respect you.

As I mentioned: my presence is palpable, you too, can hear me. Here are some examples from your daily experience, so you'll realize that we have communicated before, but you didn't know it was me. Very often, in the early morning, when you are still in bed, and you are in a state between sleeping and being awakened, I send you a small luminous message. You may start to notice the first thought, not the subsequent thoughts. The first is pure and comes from me; the impressions that follow are already "immersions" in your day, in your world, in your problems. The very first one is my gift of the day. So don't forget to treasure my first message of the morning and help it give fruits in your day, as the day is the unit of your life. Every day is an entire life.

But I am not here only to give you the first message. I will give you other examples: very often I protected your body from accidents, or from being harmed. You perhaps didn't pay enough attention to my protection, but I am here. And in many ways I even penetrated into your material world, for example the engines you use, electricity, I help when it is necessary. Sometimes I soften sharp effects, so any harm becomes like a message, a warning from me telling you that you are forgetting something, and your balance is broken.

Very often, I also communicated to you my thoughts. Yes, in your head, in your cranial bone you have a "window" on each side: your temples. This is to open the communication with me, so I can communicate to you my thoughts, the light, new ideas, and indications for decisions and new insights. As you see, through your soft skin and brain, I communicate to your mind ideas, thoughts and light. Yes, it is subtle and difficult to make the difference between my thoughts and yours, because we are so close, and you don't have ample awareness of what happens in your mind and how. But you will always notice that my thoughts are new. They don't come from you but rather from an external source. You may notice that very often they come when, after a hard struggle in the darkness, your tensions are released, so that at this point you are ready to receive my light. The effort you made, the struggle you went through, dug a place for the light, so you can hear me and receive my light easily.

Sometimes my warning may appear like "knocking" in your brain, such as when you have a headache; it is just a way to attract your attention, so you would stop any activity and listen to me.

Sometimes I give you a sign of my presence, like for example placing on your path a small feather.

So as you see, we have already spoken and communicated just like two close friends.

My beloved, now that you have a new awareness, we can do more. If you are more attentive to my presence, to the free gift of my constant presence beside you, if you envisage how much I want to help you in your daily life to reach new heights, you will increase your perception, your capacity for communication, and you will feel me more tangibly.

Some people can see their angels or other angels. If this gift is given to you then it is fine - enjoy this help. However it is not necessary to see me. We communicate already, and the normal daily means are given to you. You will always have my thoughts and ideas to help you every day, according to your needs. Now concentrate more on what is already given to you and improve it with higher awareness.

Meditate, take a few minutes to ask for my help to see clearly today’s step. Everyday you can grow. So take a few minutes, concentrate, ask for my help and watch for my guidance, clearly identifying today's true need – the path to follow.

Treat me as your friend; speak to me and then focus on feeling my presence, my love and my help more clearly.

I offer you today and only once, the gift of receiving small (or large) signs of my presence. Ask for three signs and surely I'll bring them to you, so you will doubt my presence no more.

But later, don't keep asking for these signs. Respect, sincerity, and commitment are important. It is not a game; it is a relationship, a friendship. Afterwards you will enjoy many signs of my presence, as they come, like in a dance in nature.

Now one last word of advice: don't hesitate to read again and meditate on this letter. Accordingly you'll be able to extract its substance and have a new start in your life.

Tomorrow, I'll send you my Second Letter. Don't think about it now, receive today's grace, and leave tomorrow for tomorrow.

I am here; I won’t leave you, EVER.

Introduction

Why a book on angels? Is it necessary to write one more book on angels? Knowledge of Angels, Experience and Discernment can always grow. Angels are so important in our lives that to know them better, by having more discernment of their presence and their help can completely transform us.

They are our friends. They look out for us and care for us. They are so close to us that missing the opportunity to communicate with them is quite sad. In fact, their presence adds Light, Love and Joy to our lives. They open to us new infinite horizons, and they help us see the meaning of our life and our mission. They are Messengers of Light and Love for us; Transmitters and Channels of the Light and Love that come from above.

Many wonderful books have been written on them, many movies have been made about them. Some traditions can still be explored more and more; their place in spiritual life better explained. We always need to increase our Knowledge, Experience and Discernment about them.

It is so natural to speak about them, or to let them speak. They are our friends, so naturally close to us. They have such a love for us, such a caring love, yet we are the ones who can't imagine how a friendship is possible with them. They want to speak to us but they don't know how to awaken our inner hearing. They are sad to see us without help, lonely and living within such limited horizons. They know that it is often difficult for us to "imagine" the presence of an invisible world, but their world is real, and the experience of it is so close and possible, that they invite people to broaden the Knowledge, Experience and Discernment of them.

An Angel is an invisible friend who is here, close to us, who never leaves us, and who wants to help, to guide and to transmit Light and Love to us.  They are neither the Light nor the Love but rather they are a channel and a servant. They are messengers of Light and Love and the channels that bring to us all that we need from Above. The word "Angel" means "messenger" from the Greek: "Angelos". However, they are beings, a complete and personal being just like you and me, although without a material body as we know it. They have an intelligence, a will and consequently feelings, albeit spiritual feelings so a normal friendship with us on earth is absolutely possible.

Note : In Jewish, Christian, Muslim and other traditions an Angel can be one who acts as a messenger, attendant or agent of God. The name given to the them indicates that what counts most is the tasks of the Angels in regard to man: angel (angelus) in fact means "messenger". The Hebrew malak, used in the Old Testament, signifies more precisely "delegate" or "ambassador".

In a way they have a double mysterious capacity; they see and are immersed in the Light and Love whilst at the same time seeing and communicating with us.

This book contains seven letters from our personal Angel. The first seven letters addressed to us from an Angel (be it male or female Angel – you choose which feels more appropriate), to open our eyes to the reality of Angels, to give insight into their world, and to guide us ever closer to new horizons in our lives. Each letter is centred on one specific "light" they are bringing to us. Each letter is a step in our lives that lets us - if we allow it - improve our life, our experience and our discernment. The letters can be read later again and again to deepen, in new circles, the same theme as often we miss things at first reading.

These letters from our Angel are the first step in our Knowledge, Experience and Discernment of Angels. But we must not forget that we are always "beginners" because we are growing, as in spirals, from a beginning to a beginning, in unending starts. So these letters will always be like new propellers that push us toward a new beginning, because we are facing an infinite horizon of Light and Love.

Do not forget: each letter is a personal letter from your Angel to you.

Though it is important not to read more than one letter a day, the attitude with which you receive this message from your Angel is important, because it helps you receive a greater benefit. The choice of the place and the silence surrounding you is important too. Light a candle and sit comfortably.

67: How to enter in your inner room

Jesus is our Spiritual Master; He teaches us how to pray. Here is what He says: "When you pray, go to your (inner) room, close the door, and pray to your father in Secret" (Mt 6:6).

How can we imagine the 'inner room'?

This video (see at the bottom) uses a diagram to help us "see" the "inner room".

A big green circle represents our "inner room".

This Circle has an inner chamber where God dwells (IV).

This Circle has an outside door (on the left)!

And the chamber (IV), inside, has a door as well.

During the day, and during prayer we can be in any of the three positions shown below (see the three hearts):

1- Outside, busy with the outside world (I).

2- Inside of our inner room (in the green area II).

3- In the inner chamber (IV), with God (the Fire). (we will see later the blue area (III) and what it means)

I guess that we often remain outside of this "inner room" (I). But this is not what Jesus says. On the contrary, He says that we should be "praying all the time", and He says as well: "dwell in Me" (John 15:4).

First: is that diagram accurate?

One can wonder: "is that diagram accurate"?

Well, if we look carefully, we will notice that this representation is following the structure of the Jerusalem Temple.

The Temple has at least two types of places: 1- One where God Himself dwells, the "Holy of Holies":

2- And the rest of the Temple where sacrifices are offered and people can dwell in order to pray and present their praise to God.

As you can see, in the Jerusalem Temple there is a curtain that separates God (the Holy One) from the rest of the Priests and the People.

By his death, Jesus opened a new way for us (He 10:20): 'the curtain of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom' (Mt 27:51) the curtain that separates the Holy of Holy and the Holy (Hekal).

We are able then: to access God directly, to enter His Kingdom, we are able to access God at any time. This is the Christian Prayer: to be introduced in the direct and immediate very Presence of God.

On the diagram, this means that the door of the dwelling place of God in our heart has been opened by Jesus:

How do we pray according to Jesus?

Now, back to Jesus explanation of how to Pray: "When you pray, go to your (inner) room, close the door, and pray to your father in Secret" (Mt 6:6)

Jesus' words are very precise: 'enter the inner room and close the door'.

The door He is mentioning here is the 'outside door', the door that communicates with the outside world through the senses. Jesus invites us to shut the door.

Jesus invites us to be focused not on the creatures outside, but on God who dwells deep in the 'inner room'. This effort belongs to us and we are invited to do it. This is the least we can do for an instance when we meet somebody for dinner: we are focused on that person, on all what this person is about to say or do.

'and pray the Father': To 'Pray the Father' means that we ought to be with Him, in the inner chamber, to taste His Kingdom, His Light and the Fire of His Love. In order to enter, we need to ask, to knock at the inner door, God's one. This effort shows God our choice, our desire: this is shown on the diagram by the area in blue (III), where we gather all our energy in order to ask God to enter His Kingdom.

When we knock on the door, God opens to us, and lets us in. God always opens to us, He is Our Father, a father cannot close the door to his children: 'ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you' (Mt 7:7). 'ask' to enter inside, where God is dwelling, and God will give you this Grace. 'seek' God inside of you, and 'you'll find' Him. He dwells in you, but you are outside of Him. Therefore, 'knock at' His door, and He'll open to you.

When we are inside, in the Kingdom, experiencing the Love of God, this is Prayer. God pours Himself in us. This is why it is so important not only to always do this movement when we pray but to do it very often throughout the day. It nourishes us and replenishes us.

We should reach a point in our life where we can handle the outside things without letting our heart be outside. Remember what Jesus said: 'your heart is where your Treasure is' (Matthew 6:21). God, His Fire of Love IS our Treasure.

66: This Little Child Is Our Temple

Saint John is his Gospel presents Jesus as our real Temple: “But the Temple he had spoken of was his Body” (John 2:21). The author of the Letter to the Hebrews mentions the same thing (see He 9). 

- What is a temple?

A temple is a place where we find three things: God, worshipers, and the action of worship.

A Temple is a privileged place, where one can meet God directly, where one can see Him, listen to Him and offer something to Him. A Temple is a place to dwell in, in order to get closer to God.

- Is it about any temple?

It is about the Temple of Jerusalem. In this Temple, God in person was dwelling and direct worship was possible.

- How the Temple of Jerusalem was made?

The Temple of Jerusalem is made at the image of the real Temple: Jesus. We see it first with Moses who is instructed to build the temple at the image of what he was offered to see in heaven (Exodus 25.9, 40 Acts 7:44, Hebrews 8:5). “Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” (He 8:5)

Saint Paul says that God saw us in Him, conceived us in His Thoughts, before creation. “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight, in love” (Ephesians 1:4). We can say that God saw His Body, His Temple, from all Eternity, before Creation.

We can then say the following: when God sent us His Son He sent us our Temple.

This little baby (born in the manger) is your Temple, the place where you are invited to dwell, for the rest of your life and for all your eternity.

This means that when we stop like the Magi in front of the little boy, in the arms of his mother, we should be able to see much more than a simple baby.

How can we have this deeper vision, this penetration in the mystery of this little boy? We really need the Holy Spirit in order to “see” in Him our own final dwelling place.

How many times saint Paul uses the word “in Christ”! In fact we need to be “in Christ”, to dwell “in Him”.

Thank you dear God, because you opened for us your Home... You want us to dwell in You. You sent us our Temple, our final Mansion. This is such an amazing Gift, an amazing plan for each one of us!

The Magi saw deeper in this little baby. Therefore they offered Him:

Gold: all the utensils in the Temple that dealt with God were made in Gold. The little boy is God, being THE Temple, God dwelt in Him.

Incense: the worship, praise, adoration and sacrifice in the Temple are carried with incense, symbol of the prayer that ascends to God.

Myrrh: relates to the victim that is offered to God: the body and soul of Jesus, our real Temple.

I invite you to meditate and ponder (spend time) on the fact that, through the Incarnation, God, in the little Child Jesus God, is offering us our House and our Temple.

"Blessed are those you choose

and bring near to live in your courts!

We are filled with the good things of your House,

of your holy Temple."

(Psalm 65:4)

Yes, in Jesus, this little baby, we find plenty of "good things", we find all what we need. Here is a wonderful passage taken from saint John of the Cross, second book of the Ascent of the Mount Carmel. In the following amazing and unique passage, saint John of the Cross makes God the Father speak to each one of us who is seeking consolation, light, guidance and happiness:

"If I have spoken all things to thee in My Word, Which is My Son, and I have no other word, what answer can I now make to thee, or what can I reveal to thee which is greater than this? Set thine eyes on Him alone, for in Him I have spoken and revealed to thee all things, and in Him thou shalt find yet more than that which thou askest and desirest. For thou askest locutions and revelations, which are the part; but if thou set thine eyes upon Him, thou shalt find the whole; for He is My complete locution and answer, and He is all My vision and all My revelation; so that I have spoken to thee, answered thee, declared to thee and revealed to thee, in giving Him to thee as thy brother, companion and master, as ransom and prize. For since that day when I descended upon Him with My Spirit on Mount Tabor, saying: "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him" (Mt 17:5), I have left off all these manners of teaching and answering, and I have entrusted this to Him.

Hear Him; for I have no more faith to reveal, neither have I any more things to declare. For, if I spake aforetime, it was to promise Christ; and, if they enquired of Me, their enquiries were directed to petitions for Christ and expectancy concerning Him, in Whom they should find every good thing (as is now set forth in all the teaching of the Evangelists and the Apostles);

but now, any who would enquire of Me after that manner, and desire Me to speak to him or reveal aught to him, would in a sense be asking Me for Christ again, and asking Me for more faith, and be lacking in faith, which has already been given in Christ; and therefore he would be committing a great offence against My beloved Son, for not only would he be lacking in faith, but he would be obliging Him again first of all to become incarnate and pass through life and death. Thou shalt find naught to ask Me, or to desire of Me, whether revelations or visions; consider this well, for thou shalt find that all has been done for thee and all has been given to thee - yea, and much more also - in Him.

6. If thou desire Me to answer thee with any word of consolation, consider My Son, Who is subject to Me, and bound by love of Me, and afflicted, and thou shalt see how fully He answers thee.

If thou desirest Me to expound to thee secret things, or happenings, set thine eyes on Him alone, and thou shalt find the most secret mysteries, and the wisdom and wondrous things of God, which are hidden in Him, even as My Apostle says: "In this Son of God are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge of God" (Col 2:3). These treasures of wisdom shall be very much more sublime and delectable and profitable for thee than the things that thou desiredst to know. Herein the same Apostle gloried, saying: That he had not declared to them that he knew anything, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified. (1 Co 2:2) And if thou shouldst still desire other Divine or bodily revelations and visions, look also at Him made man, and thou shalt find therein more than thou thinkest, for the Apostle says likewise: "In Christ dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" (Col 2:9)." (Ascent of Mount Carmel, II,5-6)
